ELAN x Circonflexe Mentorship Schmoozer - Montreal

ELAN invites you to an evening of refreshments and networking en francais! With the support of PERT’s Circonflexe Mentorship program, we hope to foster connections between the English and French-speaking artistic communities, and to give English-speaking artists a chance to improve their French language skills. Participants who wish to improve their French conversation skills should check out Circonflexe, which seeks to improve the French of English-speaking professionals by pairing them with Francophone mentors in their field.

This promises to be serious FUN as we look for clues to solve a mystery ! Whether you’re an English or French speaker that could mentor someone wanting to learn French OR you are an English Speaker that would like to practice her or his French skills to use in the workplace, this workshop will answer to both.

MWCN Mentorship Networking Event – 5 à 7 & Dual Workshops - St-Rémi

Join us for an engaging networking evening designed to bring together employers and job seekers who want to overcome language-related barriers in Quebec’s workforce. This event is supported by PERT and highlights the Circonflexe Mentorship Program .

The evening begins with a relaxed networking cocktail, offering participants a chance to meet, connect, and discover new opportunities.

Following the networking portion, two simultaneous workshops will take place, each tailored to a specific audience and led by experienced panelists:

For Employers (in French):
Learn how the Circonflexe Mentorship Program can support your hiring needs by connecting you with highly qualified candidates whose only obstacle may be limited French proficiency. The program provides tools to facilitate smooth integration and successful recruitment.

For Job Seekers (in English):
If limited French skills have held you back from entering the job market, this workshop will help you better understand the support available to you, how mentorship can boost your confidence, and how to take your next steps with clarity.

This event is funded by PERT and reflects our commitment to creating bridges between talent and opportunity, promoting inclusion, and strengthening our community workforce.

Inspiring French Professionals to Guide English Learners

Join us for an evening that brings together Francophone professionals and English-speaking workers who wish to develop their French-language confidence, expand their network, and participate more fully in the region’s economic and community life.

This networking event introduces the Circonflexe Mentorship Program, which supports stronger collaboration between linguistic groups by pairing mentors and mentees from similar professional backgrounds. The program encourages shared learning, skill development, and meaningful connections that help reduce barriers and strengthen opportunities for English-speaking residents in the Laurentians.

Enjoy a welcoming atmosphere, light refreshments, and the chance to meet people who are committed to building a more inclusive and vibrant community.

The Laurentian English Services Advisory Network (LESAN) invites organizations that provide services in English to join this regional exchange on social and economic development.

As part of your mentoring journey, you are warmly invited to an in-depth training session led by Elo Mentorat. This 1.5-hour interactive session is designed to provide you with concrete tools for your role as mentor, and to enrich your practices. Topics include:

A better understanding of key mentoring skills:

• Accompanying without giving ready-made solutions

• Developing active listening skills

• Asking strategic questions

• Providing useful and caring feedback

Learn how to apply these skills in your mentoring encounters
